Drag Racing Hall of Famer Curtis Smith started his 2024 season off strong, by making it to the quarter finals of the Carolina Class Racers Association (CCRA) event on Saturday. Curtis, who only runs a few select races each year, put on a strong performance all day Saturday, driving his infamous 1967 Chevrolet Camaro.
Sunday's CCRA event at Kinston was cancelled due to rain and will be rescheduled for a later date.
