Curt Smith Jr. made it down to 10 cars on Sunday's feature of the Thanksgiving Classic at Coastal Plains Raceway Park, coming close to winning his fourth race of 2023. Even with his performance during Sunday's race, Curt Jr. missed out on the CCRA season championship, finishing a strong second place in the standings; his first top 5 season points finish of his career. After three wins, and a handful of quarter-final finishes, Curt Jr. finished the year with 225 points.
