Curt Smith Jr. started the weekend off with a 7.190 dead on zero run on his 7.19 dial in for the dash for cash competition. Curt Jr. missed the dash for cash due to .02 of reaction time. Winning the dash for cash would have earned Curt Jr. the bye run first round for Saturday’s race. First round Saturday night, Curt Jr. ran dead on his dial again, a 7.171 on a 7.17 dial in with a .055 reaction time, but it was not enough to win.
Sunday’s Carolina Class Racers Association (CCRA) event was cancelled due to rain and will be rescheduled at a different date.
