Curtis Smith's 1996 IHRA Stock Eliminator World Championship winning car was on display at GALOT Motorsports Park in Dunn, NC for the East Coast Drag Racing Reunion.
Curtis' infamous 1967 Chevrolet Camaro named "Hot Stuff," was a fixture on the IHRA and NHRA tours for over 40 years. Curtis drove the car to 16 out of his 17 career national event wins and set the record books in 1985 by winning 3 national events in a row. The car is almost exactly like it was after the final race of the 1997 season.
