Third Generation Driver Curt Smith Jr. lost first gear after the opening qualifying run at the CCRA Thanksgiving Classic at Coastal Plains Dragway this past Saturday. Curt Jr. who has had lots of success in the last few years at the Thanksgiving Classic race including a Runner Up finish in 2020, could not get the car fixed before first round.
